About Elusive Mouse Gifts

Bek is the illustrator and designer behind Elusive Mouse Gifts, working from her home studio in Somerset. After studying 3D computer animation, specialising in modelling and art, she developed a strong understanding of expressive shapes, clear silhouettes and considered detail. Over time, this creative foundation naturally evolved into illustration.

At the heart of Elusive Mouse Gifts is Smudge, a tuxedo cat first created as a vector illustration in Affinity Designer. From that original drawing grew an entire cast of distinctive characters, each with their own personality and all forever accompanied by a tiny, elusive mouse. Sometimes he is hiding, sometimes he is watching, and sometimes he is causing trouble just out of sight.

Bek’s designs celebrate the charm, character and gentle mischief that make cats such unforgettable companions. Her original illustrations are transformed into colourful mugs, coasters, cushions, journals and greeting cards, designed to bring personality and joy to everyday life.

Every product is made in the United Kingdom. Mugs, coasters, journals and greeting cards are dispatched directly from Bek’s home studio, while cushions are made and fulfilled by a trusted production partner in London.
