About Elusive Mouse Gifts

Hello, I’m Bek and this is the story behind Elusive Mouse Gifts.

I studied 3D computer animation, specialising in the modelling and art side of the pipeline. That training stayed with me - clear silhouettes, expressive shapes, attention to detail, and over time it naturally evolved into illustration.

The heart of this shop is Smudge, a tuxedo cat I first drew as a vector illustration in Affinity Designer. From that single drawing came an entire cast of characters, each with their own personality, and all of them forever being interrupted by a tiny, elusive mouse. Sometimes he’s hiding. Sometimes he’s watching. Sometimes he’s causing trouble just off-screen.

Every product - including mugs, coasters, journals and greeting cards - is produced in the United Kingdom and dispatched from my home studio in Somerset. Cushions are the only exception; they are manufactured and fulfilled by a trusted production partner based in London.
